Constantin Vermoere.

I'm a founder from Flanders. Through SMOVECITY HOLDING, I build and own long-term ventures for how cities move and how we live in them, with the patience of an owner, not the horizon of an investor: SMOVE.CITY, the travel app that plans trips together; MERIDIAN, mobility intelligence for cities; Immodesk, property software for landlords and tenants; and the Belvedere Domain, our heritage estate on the Kemmelberg. The thread through all of it is the fifteen-minute city, places where how you move and how you live reinforce each other.

2012

The Belvedere Domain

My first real venture came early: acquiring the Belvedere Domain on the summit of the Kemmelberg with my father, Noel Kindt. A heritage landmark scarred by both world wars, it became a decade of hands-on work in real estate, construction and conservation, and even put me in a courtroom defending what we had built.

UberEats, Brussels

As one of the first team members of UberEats in Brussels, I helped launch multiple cities and saw up close how a global platform scales street by street.

I earned a Masters in Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Vlerick Business School, a programme that included a Silicon Valley disruption tour and a start-up accelerator.

Freel

I founded Freel at the forefront of the micromobility revolution, starting with mechanical kick scooters and evolving to connected ones. My first company, and a crash course in hardware, operations and regulation.

2020

SMOVE.CITY

I founded SMOVE.CITY starting with electric bikeshare and city analytics. It has since grown into a travel app that plans trips end to end, from a group chat to a day-by-day itinerary, with an AI travel companion.
