Back in August 2018, I embarked on a new entrepreneurial venture as the co-founder of Freel. The company was established in partnership with an incubator, following a rigorous three-month incubation and validation period. Freel was a groundbreaking B2B micro mobility provider, which sought to establish and implement a sustainable business model.
As the founding CEO of the company, I took charge of all aspects of the business, from marketing and branding to partnerships, business development, and funding. Our efforts soon paid off, and we launched in multiple cities across Belgium and Paris, forging key partnerships with major players such as Wework.
One of the key highlights of our journey was becoming among the first B2B micro mobility providers to have city employees as clients. Our client roster included major corporations such as Sodexo, Cronos Groep, Stad Kortrijk, Rydoo, and many others.
Our success with Freel paved the way for the emergence of sustainable micro mobility solutions within the industry. It was a challenging yet exhilarating experience, and I am proud to have been part of a team that was dedicated to creating positive change and driving innovation in the world of micro mobility.
